is based out of the small, friendly town of Prince Rupert. It’s geographical location makes it the ultimate fishing location of the B.C. coast. Prince Rupert lies in between two of B.C.’s greatest salmon producing river systems, the Nass River to the north, and the Skeena River to the south. Unlike other B.C. fishing hot spots, the fishing grounds around Prince Rupert always offer protection from unfavorable conditions. The chains of islands always allow protection from wind, so there is always somewhere to tuck in and fish in relative comfort. The only thing that compares to the fishing here is the beauty. You may like to spend part of your day exploring this remarkable region. Prince Rupert sits on the very edge of untouched wilderness. Bring your camera. Wild life is in abundance, and the viewing opportunities are spectacular. The area we cover, known as Chatham Sound, is home to a large array of animals. Orca (Killer) Whales and Humpback Whales feed in the nutrient rich waters of Chatham Sound. Majestic Bald Eagles are almost always on the hunt around the fishing grounds. Black bears, Grizzly bears, and Wolves are sometimes seen on the rocky shores as you head out to the fishing hot spots. Sea lions, Seals and Dolphins are a usual sighting on our excursions. The area itself is breathtaking, with snowcapped mountain ranges, beautiful white sand beaches, and unique rock formations that jut out of the blue green Pacific. Your trip will leave a smile on your face, and memories to last a life time!
are very important and necessary for the survival and sustainability of our industry. At Adrenaline Sportfishing we pride ourselves in promoting this, and take every effort, from using less harmful Catch and Release nets, to informing our guests about fish stocks to promote the actual “sport” of fishing. We do understand that guests would like to keep some fish to take home, as there is no better seafood than fresh caught fish, along with the great tale to go with it, but consideration should be taken for our resource. Ultimately, the decision lies in the hands of the guests, and there will be no pressure to keep or release fish by your guide, only information on different species. Part of Adrenaline Sportfishings’ promotion of Catch and Release is a 10% discount to groups that are willing to practice strictly Catch and Release for their trip. This must be stated to your guide on the first morning of your trip, and be followed through for the entire trip.
and I am the owner of Adrenaline Sportfishing. I have lived here in Prince Rupert for the past eight years, and love to share what our great region has to offer. I have always had a true love and passion for sport fishing and now fulfilled my dream of owning a superior fishing charter company. I have worked for some of B.C.’s most prestigious, high end fishing resorts in many different capacities, and have a great deal of knowledge when it comes to a sport fishing vacation. A fishing charter with ADRENALINE SPORTFISHING will be one to remember! <
and I am the main Captain/Guide for Adrenaline Sportfishing. I grew up in the friendly town of Prince Rupert, and have lived here most of my life. I have been a professional fishing guide for the past eleven years, fishing a minimum of one hundred days each season, guiding for B.C.’s most prestigious, high end fishing resorts. Working at these high end resorts has helped me develop a high level of service, and I take great pride in my level of professionalism. I have guided as far south as Bella Bella on B.C.’s central coast, all the way north to the Alaska border, and as far west as Langara Island on the northern tip of the Queen Charlotte Islands. Five of these years were spent fishing the waters of Chatham Sound, just north of Prince Rupert at a very exclusive fishing resort. I have gained and shared an incredible amount of fishing knowledge, and met some amazing people over the years I have spent guiding. I like meeting new people, and sharing my vast fishing knowledge, as well as the natural beauty of the area that surrounds Prince Rupert. I look forward to meeting you, and exposing you to what this truly remarkable area has to offer. I have extensive marine and tourism based training, certification, and education:
You may remember the team of Marie-Anne and Matt Anderson, as Matt guided Marie-Anne into a 19.5 pound Coho that won her a new pick-up truck in the 2006 Great Northern Salmon Classic Derby, hosted by Tourism Prince Rupert.
