is Prince Rupert‘s premier fishing charter operation.
We are locally owned, locally operated, and we are proud to share our remarkable
region with our guests.
A typical ten hour fishing charter with Adrenaline Sportfishing will start at an
agreed upon time, decided by you, and your guide. Your guide will let you known
in advance what he feels is the best time to leave the dock in order to maximize
your fishing time on the water. Things like weather, tide, previous days catch,
targeted species, and time of year will be carefully considered. While some guests
are hard core fishermen, and wish to hit the water at first light, others may be
more relaxed and more leisurely about their holiday. Once you are aboard the
Dundas Kid, your guide will give you a brief safety orientation, and ,with your
input, an outline of the days plan. You will make your self at home aboard the
Dundas Kid, as this Skagit Orca offers all the comforts needed for a great day
on the water. The Dundas Kid offers state of the art electronics, on board
washroom facilities, and complimentary coffee, snacks, and beverages. Once
away from the dock, the Dundas Kid‘s fully enclosed cabin will provide you
with a comfortable, dry ride to the fishing grounds. The fishing hot spots
are usually anywhere from forty five minutes to an hour and fifteen minutes
away. Most days, weather permitting, Adrenaline Sportfishing can target both
Salmon and Halibut in the same day. The journey across Chatham Sound, to the
fishing Prince Rupert grounds, is a beautiful one, as you travel through narrow channels,
and past rugged coastlines and charming chains of small islands. Your experienced,
local guide will give you an informative orientation of the area as the Dundas Kid
passes points of interest. Wildlife is in abundance around Prince Rupert, and is
often seen on the way out. It is not uncommon to stop for some photos of Humpback
and Orca Whales feeding, or the odd bear wandering on a secluded beach. Once we
arrive at our fishing destination, your guide will provide an on going orientation
on proper fishing techniques for the targeted species. Your day will be filled with
excitement and wonder as you catch fish and soak in the natural beauty and wild life
of the North Pacific coast. Once we arrive safely back at the dock, your fish catch will
be cleaned and bagged for your trip home. Most local hotels will allow you to store
your fish in their freezers for the night, and coolers and ice are available for
purchase in friendly Prince Rupert.
